Nice commute. The only issue was with my new panniers. The added weight assisted in my previously damaged rear rim going out of true again. Time for a new rim.
Resolved the brake rub by disengaging my rear cantilever brake. Today I will adjust the brake pads out some until I get a chance to visit my LBS.
