Those are some mighty nasty training climbs lol

I blew up on howard gap, sat down and was ready to climb in the lexus chase car. Left knee locked up.

But after about 10 min I got back up and tacked up against the 20mph head wind.

Ended up doing ~ 5:15, so figure 5:05 without the sitting down time. Disappointing... but I'll take it considering only had a half season riding after a 4 year hiatus.

I've climbed nastier stuff, but the combination of chasing to get on the lead group (made up 2 minutes to catch on) and then holding on the back for a while (tearing up the legs early) plus being on a 39/28 up those 18% climbs just did me in.

Next year I'll be prepared lol I think I can beat a 4:45
