More seriously, the definition of irony is a contrast between what was expected to happen, and what actually happened, in a given circumstance. The contrast is that what happened is in some way opposite to what was expected. There was literally none of that in the article - it was just a poorly written article (which in and of itself is not even ironic, given the publication is Cracked Magazine).
