I guess I needed to click more than twice or sober up before posting. The adapter is available. It's stainless and not split at the top collar, so it looks nice and seals out water. I wanted to put some Richie/Nitto Bullmoose bars on my daughter's Trek and ordered from somewhere online. The adapter works perfectly.
