I'm interested in seeing how the new style triple FD works with the old school chainring / crankset.

I had serious problems getting a Dura Ace triple FD to work... first, it sat too low to clear the middle chainring, and then just getting it to pick up and move the chain to the big ring was about useless. I'm going to be playing with a few different FDs to match style, aesthetic and performance. Not that I've ever thought a whole lot about FD "performance." Most FDs I've had just work.

If everything works fine, I'm interested in your opinion about having a half step middle chainring with a 10 speed.
