I've achieved the mythical 90mm 14 degree stem. LOL . Used the Specialized comp multi-stem, very nice stem, 12 degree 90mm with a 2 degree shim.

The ONLY problem I ran into is that the top cap of my old extender plug did not fit over the new stem; it is too small.

So I had to go to my LBS and they hooked me up with a washer that fit on top of the stem and under the top cap.

Can't keep that on there for long though.

So, next question is, who makes a long extender with a top cap?

Specialized said to use their own in the instructions, but seems like I can't find the part solo.

Seems like Specialized is very proprietary and exclusive when it comes to their parts/tech.
