Sorry, not sure. Some posters in the c&v section have them on STI conversion bikes that are 7sp, maybe google around and pm one of them?

My wife has Sora shifters which are on the lower end of the lineup and they have a trim level.

The microshift front shifter is for sure indexed so it isnt a ratchet...but non STIs are ratcheting. They just have multiple trim positions.
Ive always thought if a front STI had true ratcheting, it would be excellent for those who havent changed and still use bar ends.
