The Pietra 61 set the bike was made for has a front center dimension of 55.5mm and a lower limit of 60mm. The rear (long reach) caliper has a center of slot dimension of 64mm and a lower limit of 72mm.

Campag Record/NR standard reach califpers have a center of slot dimenson ob 52mm and a lower limit of 56mm. Short reach have a center of slot dimension of 47mm and a lower limit of 51mm.

So even with a standard reach Record caliper a dropout of at least 8mm would be required for fitment to the stern.

Your numbers don't jive with velobase, or what I measured on my calipers Juvela. The dimension is center of the mounting bolt straight down to a point in line with the relevant point in the pad mounting slot correct?

VB says the R/NR caliper max dimensions are 60mm for the short reach and 65mm for the standard reach, and measuring from the bolt center I get about 60mm to the bottom of the slot on my calipers. I would be fine with that extra 5mm. Where are you getting your numbers from?
