Campag Record/NR standard reach califpers have a center of slot dimenson ob 52mm and a lower limit of 56mm. Short reach have a center of slot dimension of 47mm and a lower limit of 51mm.

So even with a standard reach Record caliper a dropout of at least 8mm would be required for fitment to the stern.

We have a winner! And it ain't Velobase...

After some careful measuring with what I have on hand I came up with 51.5mm on the long side. I'll blame the .5mm discrepancy on myself and my available tools.

Considering the cost and hassle of finding a set of longer reach calipers I might just go with some offset pad holders. The 7mm extra drop they supply will be enough, and once in place they wont be very noticeable. As there's no rush here, I'll start looking for the longer brakes but if that doesn't work out at least I know I have an option.

For the sake of it, here's a look at my current "alignment". As you can see, 7mm more drop should drop me right in where I want to be.
