I may have the opportunity to relocate to Fayetteville, AR. Any feedback from people who live in the area about local rides?

I'm also eager to do some long distance touring and wanted to know how accessible the area is to those 200+ mile trails like the GAP, Paul Bunyon trail etc. I can see how far they are to drive on a map but I wonder if there other ways to get there by either riding or by trains/buses.
