I am curious how much any married guys in this thread spent on something similarly shaped but much smaller. I bet a good percentage spent more than $4k. If they can justify that, I don't see why $4k for wheels is such a deal.

Myself, I inherited my then-fiance's grandmother's ring which needed minor repairs. And you wouldn't catch me dead buying anything with so much marketing BS attached to it. But that doesn't mean I am opposed to spending that much on so little. My Nikon D3S cost almost as much as those wheels, in lightly used condition.
