I've got a Cygolite Hotshot mounted to the aero post that came on the earlier Cannondale Carbon Synapse. Its not a true aero teardrop but it ain't round either. The mounting band is long and flexible enough to wrap securely around the post and the actual mount can be rotated up and down.
