I tried all sorts of "absolutely works" gloves and combinations. Nope. Here's what finally worked for me. First layer, thin wool gloves such as defeet dura wool. Over this insulated lobster gloves. I hate the bulkiness of the lobsters but nothing with individual fingers in any combination worked. Good luck.
