Hello!
i'm looking to buy my first road bike, and with all the options, I'm not sure where to begin. I would put my budget at $700 to $1000. This is my first bike, but Im fairly sure i'll be sticking with it
nI used to love running, but the toll it took on my body and joints made it something I did not want to pursue further. I hope biking will offer a similair experience. I'm 6'3, and live in Florida, where we have no hills. I see some bikes touting their low gears for climbing, but for me that's not a big deal. We have humid summers, so if rust in an issue, i'd like to take that into consideration. I plan on riding fairly regularly, maybe 4 mornings a week, and probably some longer rides on the weekends.
Any suggestions on my first buy would be greatly appreciated! And hurry up, because i'm excited to get out on the road.
