As I am sure most are aware I got an 06 Roubaix Comp on Friday, upon disassembly I noticed that on the front left side the Gerolsteiner logo is a sticker and even at only a day old and no rides this sticker was starting to come off. WTF is that about?

I have emailed Specialized and when my LBS opens I am going to give them a call (though I was warned that this was a sticker by the LBS before the sale) and see if they can push on Specialized from their end.

So my question is why wouldn't they paint this on or clear coat it like they did with the rest of the graphics on the bike?

Anyone else have one of the Gerolsteiner Specialized bikes? Had a similar experience? Any thoughts on how to keep this sticker in place (clearcoat?)?
