It seems to me the steering on my bike is a bit "twitchy". I think having some weight upfront will make it handle better rather than worse. Seems like a good trait for a touring bike that's built and intended to carry a load upfront. It going to be very interesting and revealing to see how this actually all works out when the time comes.
