So.......do you still have this bike? What's your thoughts on it now? I am looking for a steel do everything go everywhere disc bike with fender and rack mounts. I have a great Ti weight weanie bike for my speed fix. So I would like to find something that can ride the MUP's, dirt rail trails, gravel, single track path ect. And do it all with fenders and racks if needed. And all on at least 35's with fenders. I like the idea of Fairdale and their customer service. They seem to get great reviews. I do still have this bike. It's good for the purposes you mentioned. It's a little heavy at 28 lbs. Other than that, its a good bike, imo. I just took it for a ride tonight.
The only other bike I've thought about is the Black Mountain Cycles Monster Cross frame, but its a canti frame.

dr_lha, that reminds me. Are your canti's noisy? I've always dodged canti's due to the goose call syndrome that all seem to have.
