Review of hiker/bike camp at Devil's Lake State Park (Lincoln City)

Stayed at the hiker/biker camp at Devil's Lake State Park in Lincoln City for 3 nights this week, Tuesday-Friday.

It's $6/night. I didn't pay though. The hiker/biker camp is off of the main campground and the ranger never came by. I didn't pay because I was under the impression it was free during the offseason. Wasn't until I was gone that I realized it wasn't.

There's 3 picnic tables and 2 fire pits. Wood for sale at both of the campground host sites. $5/bundle.

Open year round. Beach access. Showers/bathrooms in the main campground. Showers are free and hot.

Safeway & Grocery Outlet about 2 miles North. Subway less than 1/2 mile South. Lots of services in either direction.

Free storage lockers for your food. Bring your own lock. The raccoons are BAD here. One tore a hole in my tent while I was sleeping and stole my oatmeal that I had intended on eating before I went to bed.

3 night maximum but could stay longer I imagine.

Met a group of 5 cyclist from Vancouver, BC who were biking from Canada to Mexico. 4 guys and a girl. Probably mid 20's. Odd time of year to be riding I thought!
