For me, my creaking ultimately was the crankset itself - it just needed to be taken apart, cleaned, and rebuilt again. I did swap out my PF30 for a Wheels Manufacturing one which was like $40 or so.
Same here. A little grease and proper torque of the crankarms and it was quiet again.
