I had a Pro of your vintage. I can say without a doubt that you should avoid the GB bars. Mine were so soft that I could twist them going up a hill. They broke one day when the bike was knocked over before a race.
And if you want to get the bike back to original spec, keep your eyes open for a 43 tooth ring. My Pro came with one. I still have it, along with the front hub and seat post from the Pro
