Modern good flat bar brake levers?

Anybody have any suggestions for modern, good quality, flat bar brake levers? I'm using cantis so short pull or adjustable pull will be fine.

On one of my bikes, I have a set of old xtr levers that someone had grinded the shifters off of. Those levers are dreamy. I'm actually happy someone ground the shifters off (they're only attached via a tiny piece of aluminum) because I hate attached shifter/brake combos anyway. That bike has thumb shifters on it and it's great.

However, I can't find another (relatively cheap) set of those levers. They seem to have reached "old but good" cult status. So it's not worth it to BUY them. (I got the cutoff pair from a local bike coop for very cheap.)

So I want to look at modern levers. This particular bike is used in the winter, so I want a full sized brake lever, not one of those tiny monolevers. It's hard to use the monolevers or 2 finger levers with large gloves on.

EDIT: I do realize that the XTRs are extraordinarily nice levers, but I've got to be able to find modern levers that are similar and aren't ridiculously expensive.
