I wonder, is the kevlar supposed to lessen the chance of puntures or is it used for something else?
Yes, the kevlar is a band under the tread to help prevent flats.
And the reason I am asking is because i have an Atlantis due in at the end of the month and I was going to choose these tires. They are marked as 35 on the sidewall, but they really measure out to 32mm.
As an aside, how are you liking your Atlantis?! Have any pics? Mine is at the paint shop now. I'm having it painted gloss black with creamy filling. Just to have something a little different. Plus i think it will look sexy with the honey brooks and bar tape.
