Today was my least favorite cycling weather: 34 degrees and rain. Brrrrr.

It was supposed to snow today, so last night I prepared to ride my winter bike. They changed the forecast and it's now supposed to stay in the lower 30s and rain all day. So I switched over and rode my hybrid. Hands got pretty darn cold and eventually went numb. Rest of me did OK.

There were still quite a few icy patches left from Friday's blizzard that I had to be careful about since I wasn't riding studded tires. Lots of spots where I unclipped and just held the bike as straight as I could while I coasted over them. I'm hoping that the rain melts off most of the ice before I ride home tonight.

We get our holiday turkey this afternoon. Usually I only bring one of my saddlebags, but today I brought two. The turkey gets to ride home in the second one.
