It's set up as a sport tourer with wide-range gearing, 27x1-1/4 wheels, and randonneur bars-- the way International's should have been in the first place!
Parts are a British-Italian mix. The saddle is from my first International that I had from 1977-82.

Ofmega CX triple crank, Campagnolo NR RD w/Soma cage, Shimano HG FW

GB 88 brakes. You don't see these every day, they work about as well as any other vintage CP.

The finish is a 2-part Dupont automotive paint, a metallic base with a copper-tinted clear sprayed over. At first it looked really light, but with each successive coat it got darker until I figured it was "just right".

Love that paint job! I also have a '74 International in the original color, but I would like to have it repainted like yours. It's one of my favorite rides.
