I'm year round. But then, things are somewhat reversed down here. Prime riding season started less than a month ago.
Generally speaking, I'd guess that aficianados (such as those found at BF) are year-round hunters, while those who just want a bike will be more active during periods when actually riding their purchase is an option. So... what? Smaller pool of buyers, but more informed and motivated; also more likely to hold out for a deal rather than pay full market value. Because we're funny that way.
