So I see you know a lot about the route have you done it. what I've been trying to find out if a road bike would be suitable for section of the transamerica trail. I find out there are sections that get really moggy if rains. So I don't know if a road bike would be a mistake for that route. What type of bike would you take on that trip? I've been looking at google maps direcctions for bike I don't know how safe would those direcctions be. But those direcctions are on pavement roads.
