E-bikes is THE growth sector. B. wants a piece of the pie. The biggest piece is in Asia and growing.
If they didn't do this, I think they were on a path that would relegate them to Moulton status. A.R. =A.M. Except B is public, therefore we see what we see.
They are attempting to leverage their branding in this expanding market. I think we can presume that their E-bike will still be a high price niche product just like their folder.
Blah Blah Blah, its a capitalist plot.
No doubt our planet needs more E-Bikes instead of cars for future transportation.
