I've compiled data from all the long distance maintenance logs I was able to find (10 or so, mostly on CGOAB, for a total of more than 250 000 kms.
Marathon plus averaged 20 000 kms, much much more than any other brand/model.
Chains averaged 6 000 kms. No information on brand/model.
