Although I agree that the Ventana ECDM is likely the best tandem mountain bike made (we've owned two), it MIGHT not be the right tool for this job (i.e. GDMT). I only say this based on what I've read. I have no first hand experience riding GDMT.

That said, if you are buying a new bike, there is not a better place to start than mtbtandems.com.

We have bought more than a few bikes/frames via Alex and cannot say enough about his customer service!!
