I've done five Lake Pepin 3speed tours. It is a 2 day event with 40-45 miles a day with options for more miles. Food is a big part of the event & you can use your 4 speed. There is camping if you chose & the nice thing is that you don't have to carry your camping gear. A shuttle vehicle will carry it. It's a great event!
When I've done Lake Pepin, I arrive the night before the ride and set up camp in Wabasha, get up the next morning and drive to the start in Red Wing, ride back to Wabasha with the group and spend the night in camp (already set up!

), ride with the group the next day back to Red Wing, load the bike on the car, drive back to Wabasha, break camp and head home.
