Save the thanks for after you try mounting tires this way, namely starting opposite the loose valve and pushing the tire to center and forward as you go.

One other suggestion.

pre-inflate the tube until it's a sausage. This makes it easier to stuff in to the tire and keeps it there so you don't pinch it against the rim. However, as you near the end, you'll have to let nearly all the air back out so the tube allows the tire to move to the center of the rim well.

Hopefully, the advice will actually help and you'll still want to thank me after trying it out.
