RobbieTunes, thanks for offering the decals. I want to see what shape the bike is in and whether or not some carefully done touch ups can suffice.
I am really looking forward to building this bad boy up. I have a Dura Ace 7402 crank to throw on it and some Nitto gear for the cockpit.
Is it blaspheme to not go for the original stock set up? Truth be told, I am planning to throw on some 650c wheels with some bigger tires and long reach calipers. I though it would make it nice for winter and gravel paths in the summer—get it ready for some fun on the C&O bike path outside of DC.
