Is it blaspheme to not go for the original stock set up? Truth be told, I am planning to throw on some 650c wheels with some bigger tires and long reach calipers. I though it would make it nice for winter and gravel paths in the summer—get it ready for some fun on the C&O bike path outside of DC.
No blaspheme on a 650B conversion, and personally, I think it would be interesting. It may reduce the hordes of excited women who approach you to just those wearing hiking boots and vests.
