Weather wise - it's going to get cold this friday in Boston, meaning I'm gonna test out how well my bar mitts work.
You didn't ask but I've been there, when I started off car-free. It it doesn't feel better within one or two days,
don't work through it. I did that, figuring it was just another twinge that would work itself out with exercise, but it got worse and suddenly. It took a couple of months to get back to 100%, pedaling with one leg and soft-pedaling on the other. It's better to back off before that point, if there's any choice. At the very least go half-speed and don't stress that leg until the pain is gone.
