I have one, no problems so far. Have done about 6500km of lightly loaded touring, including some bike packing on reasonably chunky single trail. I got the 29" model which compensates reasonably well for 100mm suspension 26" size. The steerer was only just long enough to get the bars level with the seat for my height (177cm). All in all I'm happy with it, and have no safety fears.
