I'm building up a new gravel/touring bike and need a recommendation on V Brakes or Canti's. I'm used to using caliper brakes on my road bike and love them. Low maintenance, no noise, rarely ever need adjusting and just work.

Is there a version of V Brake or Canti that works the same? No noise, set and forget? Or it is a constant battle with these to stop the rubbing and squeaking?

Is there a model or design that works better for this? I've heard the TRP CRX9 are a good option. Agree? Anything else?
