Here's mine And I agree it's pointless to go beyond 7 in half-steps.
This shifts in friction just fine.



A modern 2x9 will accomplish the same thing, and this shifts better w/ index

I also shift Campy Record 8sp with 2nd gen Chorus RD using C-Record DT friction shifters, and it's the best shifting I've ever experienced, including any index
