Hubs: DT Swiss Cerit

I recently bought a new wheelset and when I installed it on my bike, the rotor, which is true, has less than a 1mm clearance between the rotor and the moving brake pad. I did the CPS positioning thing and all that and it still is this same thing. Right now, I just put a random washer that I found laying around between the hub and the frame. Is there a way I can correct this problem?
