After fiddling with the clutch a little bit it seems like I either have tension, or good shifting, but not both. It's so weird, and I don't know how that could be possible but it seems like the clutch throws off the indexing. I shift to a random gear, it makes much more noise than it should. I turn off the clutch, shift up or down, and then shift back to the same gear, and it's much much more quieter.

It's also making a lot of noise in the biggest or smallest cog especially when back pedalling, which I know is because the chain line is not perfect on a 1x setup, but the low end 1x8 I replaced was quieter, and I did not mess with the chain line since... The chain line is around 48-49mm which after doing some research seems to be the ideal chainline for 1x10.
