Maybe I misunderstood the flaw Uber has with interacting with bike lanes, but I thought their issue was their cars didn't know how to merge into a bike lane prior to turning, so they just right hook anyone in the bike lane.
I'm glad they're going to confine their self-driving experiment to Pittsburgh, PA until the bugs are worked out. Needless to say, I have no plans to travel to Pittsburgh over the next several years.
