In any event, some jurisdictions you merge then turn. Others, you yield then turn. Even if you *gasp* drive in multiple jurisdictions or *gasp* ride a bike in multiple jurisdictions, it's not that hard to not kill or not die.

I thought one merged (with yield) and turned everywhere in the US except Oregon and Arizona, where one just yields and turns, at least in theory.
You'd think such a simple thing as how to make a right turn in a motor vehicle on a road with a bike lane could be standardized across the nation.
