The Finnish Army uses wood stoves too when heating their tents. I also did when I was in a winter camp with a big canvas wall tent. But that tent was made for a chimney etc....
I don't think you are talking about a wood stove and a big canvas wall tent. If not, OUCH - dangerous ground you are on...
