Many LBSs don't patch tubes because they couldn't charge for the time, better to just replace. That slant probably won't do any harm, but I'd prefer to deflate the tire and correct it - if only for the looks...
A slanted schrader valve will eventually cut through the rubber surrounding the valve, and may cause a flat.

Interesting. I have a different method. I squeeze the tire, then slowly spin the whole wheel while squeezing in a circle in the direction want it to move. Usually once or twice around the wheel, and it gets the valve straight. Some MTB tires are loose enough to just be pulled straight.
Well... BE CAREFUL WITH CONTINENTAL TIRES and pulling along the sidewalls
