Plus with the re-paint, i wouldnt be afraid to dress it out with whatever modern groupset floated my boat -- modern Campy 11 speed? Sure , -- Ultegra Di2 even? Why not
Barrett may be right also, but i have been inclined to pay too much for things before --- not an outrageous amount, but if its not a common item and i want it - heck with it - you only live once. ( and $650 ready to ride Colnagos do not grow on trees in very many areas)
