Biking, walking, and driving are all radically different as far as the experience and mental state that I have during the activity. So true. I can enjoy a nice drive in the country for sure. I also used to love cross-country road trips. But for me it's not worth the hassle of keeping a car just for an occasional drive. The bike and walking are more my speed.
