2017 will be the year of my first tour. I plan to drive to Cumberland, MD, hop on the Amtrak train (roll on service) to Pittsburgh, and then ride my Trek 520 back to Cumberland (150 miles) over 4 days. This will be my first tour of any kind and I hope to build up to this ride with some day long rides. My plan is to ride this trip in September 2017 so it will give me plenty of time to build up my stamina and also time to acquire some paniers and a go pro camera to document the trip. My plan is to camp on this trip.
