Solid as HMS Warspite, and only slightly lighter, we sourced them from our distributor of Jack Taylor framesets.
The combination of Blackburn design & Cannondale/Kirtland/Eclipse HB bags & panniers put paid to Euro imports with "modern" materials and design.

You know I actually have a karrimor saddle bag kicking around somewhere. I may have to take it out of hibernation for this old school build,
. The karrimor racks were excellent. I toured all around Europe in the early 80s and used one.
