I often share a picture of myself somewhere with my bike.... on social media. As many of my friends are also seniors like myself... I hope that my sharing helps to encourage other to get outside and enjoy themselves also.
A couple friends have mentioned to me that it has motivated them to also go to a festival or whatever. Even if they did drive there, they got outside and enjoyed themselves. More than a couple people have even dug out the old bikes and went for a ride.
To me... having fun and staying active is what it's all about. I myself find a lot of joy in cycling.
