There must be a lot of people who prefer a stick though since Enterprise charges an extra $20+ per day to not have an automatic in your rental car.
That's probably a clutch replacement surcharge because no one knows how to drive stick anymore. I consider my manual Jetta to have an additional built-in theft prevention device.
