(Too young to be a grouch, but I am one today) Thought for the day: When you spend half an hour composing a professional e-mail requesting a reference to a professional institution, and the recipient (who is a highly qualified individual) of the message doesn't even check his grammar on his two sentence response, were all those hours spent learning how to write well in high school really time well spent?
